It is amazing and thoughtful to have a staff appreciation day however for those of us that do not drink coffee it's unacceptable and discriminatory to not offer an alternative, say like tea which is cheaper the coffee per cup.
When I asked if I could have a tea instead I was bluntly told no with zero compromise.
I was buying lunch and tea from the cafe at least once a week but I will never spendy money there again. Thats a total of approximately $15/week.
The food is decent and menu does offer a wide variety of options for a small cafe but the prices are crazy $3 for a tea aka hot water and a teabag $8 for a wrap. I always try to support local businesses and was happy being overcharged for average food but after today's rude interaction it is no longer a business I choose to support.
